About the Founding Director

Tatiana has worked in the international energy sector for over 15 years, across the gas industry, government, and academia. 

She started Statem Consulting because she believes that the role that the energy industry plays in society and the environment is too vital to be misunderstood, and she is passionate about reducing the complexity of energy narratives to the world to make them more conducive to better dialogue.

Having worked with stakeholders and built connections at all levels from the general public to C-suite executives, government officials, and the media — in 80 countries — Tatiana learned how to listen to the audience to discover and bridge position gaps.

She brings a unique perspective and a track record of helping to deliver policy impact with leading global and regional governance institutions, having advised government on energy policy, and developed outreach and positioning for global gas.
